The Singapore International Photography Festival respects the rights of artists. All works (images and text) displayed within the festival are protected by copyright and have been exhibited with the artists’ permission.
No image or text in this website may be reproduced, published or communicated (other than for the purposes of research or study, criticism or review or reporting the news) without the permission of the copyright owner. If permission is not obtained, the copyright rights of the owner may be infringed. All requests for use should be directed to the artist directly.
All artists retain the creator’s right to the submitted works. If a project is selected, the artist is obliged to temporarily transfer his/her rights of the images to the SIPF so that,
- The images may be produced for the exhibition.
- The images may be used in the festival’s publicity drive and shown in subsequent tours.
If the work is used for purposes permitted, full attribution should be given and the work should be used in full without alteration.
The copyright in each work will remain the property of the photographer, and the festival will inform purchasers that the photographer is the owner of copyright in the work.
