SIPF 2010 bends the learning curve by offering varied and exciting occasions for everyone to congregate to share exchange and participate in intelligibly knowledgeable discourse on issues related to photography. Limited to 30 participants.

Please note these programmes are only applicable for Southeast Asian nationality. During the festival, there will be events and workshops open to general public.

Well distinguished, qualified guestspeakers and curators will do us the honour by spearheading these programs, sharing with us their knowledge and providing useful advice to participants.

SIPF 2010 creates that special space for aspiring and established artists to call their own where they have this golden opportunity to bring their works to prominence collectively for the international audience to appreciate.

The festival starts with open call with a refreshing concept of two categories for submission. The first category continues with the tradition of being ‘theme-less’ with the sole purpose of ascertaining original, contemporary works and talented individuals. For the second category, the festival invites and encourages distinctive artistic interpretations of the theme, Human: Nature.

Looking for opportunities to develop new skills, unleash the untapped talent in you, meet new people in the industry, learn first hand on what goes on behind-the-scenes in a photography festival where you will have special privilege of the know-hows on printing, marketing, festival setups and more? The Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) spearheads the growing phenomenon of photography in Southeast Asia. It is a non-profit initiative made possible by various institutions, corporations and individuals who share a common passion to give emerging and aspiring photographers from all round the world a chance to exhibit their works.

SIPF 2010 is looking to gather a full-fledged team of committed individuals who desire to contribute to the photography art scene. The festival welcomes YOU to be part of the family.

Volunteer Requirements

Prior experience and specific skills are not necessary unless otherwise stated.

The festival is now looking for reliable and committed individuals to fill the following volunteer openings:

Programme Assistant
Exhibition & Logistics Assistant
Hospitality Assistant
Admin & PR
Misc Speciality Roles
