The SIPF is a worldwide biennial gathering of minds commonly pursuing the advancement and appreciation of photography. An arena for critical thought and academic discussion on photography in Southeast Asia, the festival also functions as a platform to nurture and propel photographers onto the international stage.

Come December, selected works from SIPF 2008 will travel to Manila, Philippines for a month long exhibition.

This is a good opportunity to catch the exhibition for those who have missed the festival in Singapore. Partner with Silverlens Gallery, this is a visual feast for the community in Philippines and as well as extended exposure for selected SIPF 08 photographers.

What is SIPF
The biennial festival SIPF strives to provide a platform for Southeast Asian artists to showcase their works alongside their international peers at various venues across Singapore.

Who are the curators
The curators are qualified arts professionals from all over Asia who are invited by the festival to make a discerning selection from the open call entries. They play an important role to create meaningful dialogues between the works and audiences. The curators for SIPF 2010 will be announced in November 2009.
How to submit my work
All works must be submitted online from 1 October 2009 to 31 March 2010. An entry fees is applicable to all. Please read the submission criteria before submitting your works.

When/Where is SIPF?
SIPF 2010 will open on 10th Oct 2010. The exhibitions and programmes will take place across various sites in Singapore to reach out to as many people as possible.
