The SIPF is a worldwide biennial gathering of minds commonly pursuing the advancement and appreciation of photography. An arena for critical thought and academic discussion on photography in Southeast Asia, the festival also functions as a platform to nurture and propel photographers onto the international stage.
SIPF 2010 Open CallSIPF 2010 creates that special space for aspiring and established artists to call their own where they have this golden opportunity to bring their works to prominence collectively for the international audience to appreciate.
The festival starts with open call with a refreshing concept of two categories for submission. The first category continues with the tradition of being ‘theme-less’ with the sole purpose of ascertaining original, contemporary works and talented individuals. For the second category, the festival invites and encourages distinctive artistic interpretations of the theme, Human: Nature.
