“An Island Between Lighthouses” questions the concept of time and space. This series was shot on one of the islands of the northern coast of The Netherlands. This island is perceived to be a monument of nature and has 900 inhabitants as well. Gidey uses night photography to experiment extending the day into the night such that the boundaries between night and day are blurred.
