Zheng Qing embarked on this personal project to capture the rapid changing coastline Dalian, China over the last 10 years. Surviving the onslaught of development and industrialization, a few traditional fishing villages continue to the ritual of harvesting from the sea like “Qing Nu Wa”. The villagers share a common resource- the sea and their tenacious spirit and their bonds between each other.
