This series explores how the (social) body is modifed by objects, where the symbiotic relationship between the object and our body allow both entities to adapt to each other. As a result, this relationship leads to the construction of memories that are invisible to the naked eye. Thus, Qiu attempts to visualize these transformations and adaptations to realise the memory or rather, the lack of memory. Subsequently, he realizes the concept of emptiness; the emptiness of memory, which is exemplified by the body’s consistent need for the object to make meanings for its body.
