KIMSUNIK (b. 1986, Seoul) is a photographer and image-maker who conducts various experiments to transform life into art, balancing rational control with irrational sensibilities. He independently observes the trivial and humble aspects of life to uncover hidden narratives, capturing them in their most primal form through photography.

Since his first photobook project, ISOLATION, he has consistently pursued his artistic practice through both publications and exhibitions. He also hosts annual solo exhibitions at his studio in Jongno, Seoul.
