Acclaimed lens-based artist Boris Eldagsen leads this half-day masterclass session examining the evolution of modern image-making. His four-hour workshop, Visual Direction through Language, provides a deep dive into advanced generative AI, utilising leading models for sophisticated prompt editing and visual grounding. Eldagsen delineates the unique meaning-making capabilities of each medium, offering a conceptual toolbox that allows creators to navigate the nuanced intersection of traditional craft and algorithmic innovation within contemporary visual culture.

Participants should have 0 – 40 h knowledge of Nano Banana Pro/2, Seedream 5 Pro, ChatGPT Image 2, or MUSE Image in post-production. The workshop is designed for photographers, designers, illustrators, art directors, artists, and anyone working with image editing and post-production.
