SEOK Jaehyun is a Korean curator, photographer, and educator based in Daegu. He is the Artistic Director of the 2027 Daegu Photo Biennale and Director of ArtSpace LUMOS, an independent institution dedicated to contemporary photography and photobook publishing.

Since co-founding the Daegu Photo Biennale in 2006, Seok has curated numerous international exhibitions and cultural exchange projects across Asia and Europe. He previously served as Artistic Director of the Busan International Photo Festival (2020–2024) and has led the Climate Change Photo Project (CCPP), an international initiative exploring environmental issues through photography.

Seok has collaborated with major photography festivals and institutions including Rencontres d’Arles, FotoFest Houston, PhotoBrussels Festival, FotoIstanbul, the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF), Dali International Photo Festival (China), FORMAT (UK), Festival de la Luz (Argentina), and Museum Hanmi (Seoul). He has also served internationally as a portfolio reviewer, nominator, and juror for awards including the Leica Oskar Barnack Award, Earth Photo (UK), Vogue Italia, and the DIPF Award.

His practice focuses on building international platforms that connect artists, institutions, and audiences through photography.
