Trish Lambe is the Artistic Director/CEO at Photo Museum Ireland, the national centre for photography and the country’s first accredited contemporary photography museum. She leads the museum’s artistic programming and oversees the strategic development of its artists’ archive collections. Having curated numerous solo and group exhibitions featuring leading Irish and international artists, she continues to direct a diverse programme of commissions, symposia, and events that address critical issues in contemporary photography.
Recent curatorial projects include Shane Hynan’s landmark boglands study, Beneath | Beofhód, and the award-winning co-curation of Akihiko Okamura’s The Memories of Others. She serves as a nominator, juror, and portfolio reviewer for prestigious awards including the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, Prix Pictet, and the Leica Women in Photography Award. She has participated in major international festivals such as Belfast Photo Festival, Format Festival (UK), Encontros da Imagem (Portugal), and Rencontres d’Arles (France).
