Marta Kiela-Czarnik is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, she is a legal advisor and studied photography at the Warsaw School of Photography and Computer Graphics in Warsaw.

She participated in a one-year course as part of the Mentoring Program run by Sputnik Photos. She is a winner of the 3rd edition of the Debuts competition organized by doc! photo magazine. She is a member of TiT Collective.

In 2016, she published her debut book, “I am”. She was a winner of the Wystaw się w CSW competition. In 2021, her second book, “Siewki”, was published. This book was shortlisted for the 2022 Photography Publication of the Year and was also presented at exhibitions in Athens (Athen Photo Festival 2022) and Berlin: Polish Photographic Art: A State of Exception (September 10, 2022 – January 1, 2023) at the ZAK in Berlin.

In 2025, she published her third book, “Come in and go out and find”.
