Arrvinraj Balasubramaniam (b. 1996, Malaysia) is a Singapore and Malaysia based multidisciplinary artist working across performance, photography, painting, sculpture, and installation. His practice moves through the body as both subject and site, tracing gestures of selfhood, intuition, and the quiet tensions that shape human presence. Often situated between action and stillness, his works unfold as encounters with space, with memory, with the unseen architectures of social and psychological states.

He has presented works internationally, including a sculptural contribution to the Sanyi Woodcarving Museum (2019), participation in Power Play: Invisible Lines (2020), and a one-hour durational performance at Bopiliao Historical Block, Taiwan (2023). In 2024, his work appeared in Fragments of an Unknown Space at the Singapore International Photography Festival, and he was invited to Studio Plesungan for Undisclosed Territory #14 in Surakarta, Indonesia.

In 2025, he co-founded Con-Temporary Art, a roving gallery project that resists fixed ground. In the same year, he exhibited in Sama-Sama at Whitestone Gallery, Singapore. In 2026, he performed at the GUYU Action International Performance Art Festival in Xi’an, China.

His practice continues to evolve, stretching and bending like a body in motion, constantly testing the boundaries of space, time, and what it means to be present
