When we speak of “home”, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?

Facilitated by Migrant Writers of Singapore, this reflective writing workshop invites you to feel the textures of home, where our feelings, memories, and even daydreams move as undercurrents.

Taking place within the exhibition “The worlds we traverse, the worlds that linger”, the workshop will start with a curator tour, inviting you to feel your way into the artworks, tracing where they touch something personal. From there, a series of writing prompts will follow, where an image, an object, or a line of text become the opening line of something personal. 

No writing experience is required. Together, we will uncover the stories behind the structures we call home, and leave with something written, and a little closer to what “home” truly means to us.
