Established during the festival’s debut in 2008, the Portfolio Review remains a fundamental cornerstone of SIPF. Designed to facilitate professional growth, the programme creates a space for photography practitioners to engage directly with influential industry figures. Over the years, it has cultivated an extensive global network, bridging the gap between lens-based creators and a diverse range of curators, gallerists, editors, and scholars from prominent cultural and academic institutions.
For this edition, SIPF have gathered more than 20 esteemed international experts to provide personalised, one-to-one and open consultations through a versatile hybrid format.
This programme is presented at University of the Arts Singapore (UAS) at National Design Centre.
How to Register
Please register by 4th October 2026 (Sun), 23:59 hours (SGT, GMT+8) for the Portfolio Review at our ticketing platform, at this link here.
Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with a link to fill up an electronic form. You will be prompted to indicate your preferred reviewers & submit your digital portfolio.
SIPF will then pair Reviewers and Participants. This arrangement will be on a first-come, first-served basis & subjected to the Reviewers’ availability.
SIPF will share the schedule via email with confirmed participants once finalised, together with all the information you need to participate.
Additional Information:
Each review appointment will last for 20 minutes. The duration of each appointment will be the same for both physical & open reviews.
The pairing of the Reviewers and Participants will be arranged by SIPF on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of your payment, your reviewer preferences, and digital portfolio.
In the event of an unexpected cancellation of a Reviewer, the schedule will be modified and SIPF will strive to inform the affected Participants at the soonest possible timeframe. Participants will be offered a new appointment with another reviewer (subjected to availability) and be informed of alternate arrangements.
Any request to refund or cancel your ticket has to be made before 7th Oct 2026, 2359 hours through our ticketing platform or by email (programmes@sipf.sg). There will be no refunds issued for cancellations made after 7th Oct 2026, 0000hrs onwards.
The Anton Gautama Professional Development Scholarship
DECK & the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is pleased to announce the continuation of the Anton Gautama Professional Development Scholarship created in loving memory of the late documentary photographer, Anton Gautama, who believed that the pursue of a photography practice requires an open mind for critique and continued learning to shape one’s photographic voice.
Applicants of South-East Asian descent are welcomed to apply for the scholarship to subsidise the cost of the programme fee directly related to the 10th SIPF Asia Meet: 1 to 1 Physical and Online Portfolio Reviews. The scholarship is open to applicants at any stages of their professional development — you do not need to be a full-time practicing photographer or artist to be eligible for the award.
For more information and to apply for the Anton Gautama Professional Development Scholarship, please kindly head to: sipf.sg/agpds26
The Anton Gautama Professional Development Scholarship is made possible with the generous patronage of Stephen Gunawan, Lisa Gautama and the Gautama Family.
