Where can your photographic work go next? This workshop invites participants to step back from an ongoing project, examine their creative practice, and explore new possibilities for developing both their work and career.
Through selected case studies, group critique, individual feedback, and open conversation, participants will explore how to develop and edit a photographic project, strengthen visual narratives, and clarify their visual language and working methodology. The workshop will also introduce the contemporary photography landscape, looking at practical pathways for sharing and advancing work through publishing, exhibitions, festivals, grants, residencies, distribution platforms, and professional networks.
A key focus will be on connecting creative development with professional practice: how to present work effectively, reach different audiences, build meaningful networks, and develop a more sustainable career.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clearer understanding of their photographic direction, stronger ideas for developing their current project, and practical next steps for moving their work forward.
Participants should bring an ongoing photographic series or body of work, which will form the basis for discussion, critical feedback, and individual guidance during the session.
