SIPF Portfolio Review is a springboard for works to be picked up by local and international reviewers. This year, we have a wide selection of portfolio reviewers ranging from editors to curators to festival directors. You will get to present your works to these professionals and receive useful advice and guidance on your works and careers.
In this 6th edition, a participant will be awarded the Best Portfolio Review Prize which gives him/her the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in the next edition of SIPF in 2020.
Each participant can meet 7 reviewers of their choice, in a one-to-one individual 20-minute session. Participants should bring their actual printed portfolio for review. Presentation of digital files on a laptop is possible but not encouraged.

About the Reviewer
Duan Yuting has been dedicating herself to promoting Chinese contemporary photography for many years. She is the director of Lianzhou International Photo Festival, one of the biggest and most influential photo festivals in China. She co-founded the festival in 2005 and has been closely involved with its development since.
Duan has also been involved with the following festivals around the world: FotoFest, FOTOBILD, Paris Photo Biennale, Rhubarb-Rhubarb festival, Thessaloniki Photo Biennale, Festival de la Luz and Moscow Photo Biennale. She has also been a nominator for the Prix Pictet Photography Prize and the Hasselblad Award. She is the author of “Ten Years of Contemporary Photography in China 2005-2014”.
She co-founded Lianzhou Museum of Photography (LMP), the first public museum dedicated to contemporary photography in China in 2017, she is now the co-director of LMP.
Preference
She is interested in all kinds of contemporary photography other than commercial works.
