How do we truly know an environment? While photography often documents nature, ecologies unfold through relationships that frequently escape the camera. 

Moving beyond simple representation, this conversation questions what constitutes “ecological evidence.” Can a photograph reveal an ecosystem, or do specimens and chance encounters tell a richer story? Discover how art, when placed alongside scientific knowledge, offers a deeper, relational understanding of the environments we inhabit.
