Sohrab Hura’s mother was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 1999 when he was 17. Since then, he has been leading a nomadic life driven by his thirst for traveling and experience.
“Life is Elsewhere” is his visual journal where he tries to documents his life. Hura attempts to connect his own life with the world in a hope of finding his place in it.

About the Artist
Sohrab Hura was born on 17th October 1981 and he grew up changing his ambitions from one exciting thing to another. He started with dreams of growing up and becoming a dog, which later turned to becoming a superhero and then to a veterinarian, a herpetologist and a wild life filmmaker. Today he is a documentary photographer working on long-term projects, after having completed his Masters in Economics.
