Dedicated to the richness of photography & publishing practices, the 9th SIPF Photo Market is a two-day gathering of international publishers and photographers, with a focus on exchanging knowledge, connecting communities and developing visual literacy through the medium of photobooks & photographic visual culture.
This year, the Photo Market brings you 24 publishing houses, collectives, and artists from both international and local grounds. The event takes place at the National Design Centre building within the lively city centre that is the Bras Basah.Bugis (BBB) precinct — home to many other local visual art, literary, and performing arts spaces.
The National Design Centre will also be housing the 9th SIPF Open Call Photobook Showcase, featuring the 48 photobooks that were shortlisted by the festival’s jury for this edition’s Photobook Open Call, alongside travelling photobook showcases presented by Lightbox Photo Library [TW] and Three Shadows Photography Art Centre [CN].
The 9th SIPF Photo Market is a non-ticketed event, and all are welcome!
