Julia Bohle is a German photographic artist, researcher, and bookmaker currently undertaking a Doctor of Fine Arts (DFA) in Photomedia at the National Art School in Sydney. 

Her practice explores photography, moving image, walking, and artist books as interconnected ways of observing and understanding the world. Through long walks and extended periods of observation, she investigate themes of atmosphere, memory, perception, and the relationship between landscape and the self.
