Tommaso Parrillo studied photography at the Fine Arts Academy in Naples. In 2012, he founded publishing house Witty Books. In 2015, he co-founded Jest, an exhibition space about photography. He currently lives in Turin and works as a publisher, curator and educator.

Witty Books is an independent publishing house founded in 2012 (previously Witty Kiwi) with the intention of promoting contemporary photography and visual art. In fact, in addition to publishing, it pays considerable attention to image education through workshops and masterclasses. With the Ear/eye project, it examines the comparison between different fields of art, putting visual and sound artists in dialogue through the publication of books and audio cassettes.
