Between 2005 and 2008, the photographer documented Taiwanese mobile troupes and stage trucks, which are frequently seen in the traveling performance culture. Beyond faithfully capturing these instantaneous “temporary landscapes,” the images also reveal our anthropomorphization of these “transformer trucks” and our objectification of the singers. The book contains 36 pieces of work and presents images in the form of a seven-meter-long scroll.
