Rodrigo Gonzalo Encinar is a visual artist, researcher, lecturer and designer living in Singapore. His research and visual work revolves around critical explorations of representation. He understands and represents the world within the means of
photography, focusing on a historical, social and critical awareness of photographs, interrogating the documentary use of the camera. He is interested in the construction processes of identity and place through spoken and written language and uses
photography, writing, and data as mediums. Originally from Spain, his work has been exhibited in Europe, the USA and Asia.
