SHOUT IV contains three image compilations by Su Misu, Lin Chien-Wen, and Wu Mei-Chi. Su Misu uses cinematic techniques to photograph female portraits, with “synthesis” and “unnatural” as her creative themes.  Lin Chien-Wen cuts, reassembles, and superimposes images from different time periods to construct a new reality, investigating how images could be both independent and at the same time part of a whole. Wu Mei-Chi placed fruits and vegetables, together with diamonds and glasswares, using object combinations to ponder the nature of experimentation.

Artist Biography:

Voices of Photography is an independent publication dedicated to image culture. Since its inception in 2011, VOP has always focused on the development of photography in Asia and places special importance on inter-Asian connections. VOP has been exploring the culture, history and philosophy of photography, and continually promoting imagery reading, critique, and research, gathering important literature and research materials, presenting rich and varied features with a different theme every issue.
