Umberto Diecinove is an Italian photographer and author. Since 2019, he has been developing I N S C T S, a long-term multimedia project documenting insect farming across different countries and its connections with agriculture, waste, animal feed, soil and local livelihoods. His practice combines documentary photography with microscopy, audio and other forms of documentation to explore different ways of observing and understanding complex systems.
