This is a collection of photographs about personal emotional experiences and travelling. The series expresses my perception of urban culture and its fluid surroundings as I travel and become intoxicated, and explores the fluid, sensory and metaphysical potential of photography in this experimental way.

Artist Biography:

Qi Ruoyu, born in 1998 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, studied Film and Television Production at the Shanghai University Film School as an undergraduate, and has an MA in Photography from the University of Westminster. Her work focuses on exploring the fluidity and metaphysical potential of photography, and on the subtle emotional experiences of everyday life.
