Where We Stand explores place as a living, shifting terrain shaped by development, labour, consumption, memory, identity and movement. Through diverse photographic perspectives, the exhibition considers how cities and landscapes are inhabited, regulated, transformed and remembered. From Singapore’s streets and housing estates to the quiet landscapes of the Mekong Delta, the works move between the intimate and the collective, the familiar and the unseen. Bodies, belongings, rituals, advertisements and memories become traces of how places are made and experienced. Together, the artists ask not only where we stand, but what shapes our sense of belonging and what we carry when we leave.
