Angles and perspectives have been given new twists in this series of images, each a collation of shots taken with painstaking precision, creating an entrancing effect of staggering patterns. Technically challenging, tripods were given exact adjustment and all movement had to be calculated and measured.

About the Artist
Prateep Suthathongthai graduated with BFA from Rajamangara Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and MFA from Silpakorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He has held solo exhibitions including Thai in Tai in Thai in 2008 and Take Turn at 100 Tonson Gallery, Bangkok, Thailand. He has also participated in group exhibitions such as Month of Photography Bangkok in 2004 and 2006, and duo-exhibition Vision Impossible with Porntaweesak Rimsakul in 2005. In 2006, Prateep started to explore the use of video medium and was consequently invited to participate in various events such as What about WATER Short cuts in Iceland, Ghost of the Coast in Australia, La ideo thaï, (as part of Videoformes 2007) in France and Busan Biennale in Korea. He was recipient of the Grand Prize of Asian New Media Art Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2007.
