Tenzing Dakpa
Tenzing Dakpa (b. 1985, Sikkim) is an alumnus of Rhode Island School of Design with an MFA in Photography (2016) and College of Art, New Delhi with a BFA in Graphic Design (2009). He is a second-generation Tibetan.
In 2018, The Hotel was shortlisted for the Mack First Book Award and won the Photobook Award at the Singapore International Photography Festival. The Hotel was published by Steidl in April 2020.
Dakpa’s works have been exhibited at art galleries and institutions globally, including Europe, America, and Asia.
Krittika Sharma
Krittika Sharma holds a Masters in History of Art and Archaeology from SOAS, University of London. She is co-founder and director of indigo+madder, a gallery based in South London with a special focus on contemporary art from South Asia and its diaspora. Krittika is interested in intimate, research-led, multidisciplinary enquiries that explore intersections of history, gender, culture, and politics through the exhibition format. Curated exhibitions include areej kaoud: mishmish, Feb 2020, i+m, London; Gadfly, November 2019, i+m, London and within|without, Nov 2018, Asia House, London, amongst others. Krittika was born in New Delhi, India. She lives and works in London, UK.
