Arrvin (b. 1996, Malaysia) is a Singapore-based multidisciplinary artist. With a fervent interest in self-identification and deep-seated intuition, he employs art as a medium to investigate these facets of the human experience. Specialising in performance art, photography, painting, sculpture, and installation art, Arrvin’s oeuvre delves deep into the human condition, spotlighting social phenomena, psychology, and the intricacies of interpersonal relationships.
As a testament to his commitment to the artistic community, Arrvin co-founded the Buwan Art Collective. In 2019, he took part in the Taiwan International Youth Wood Sculpture Symposium and contributed a wood sculpture to the Sanyi Woodcarving Museum in Taiwan. He further expanded his international footprint in 2020 by participating in the “Power Play: Invisible Lines” group exhibition. In 2023, Arrvin captivated audiences with a one-hour durational live performance at the Bopiliao historical building in Taiwan. Most recently, he enriched his artistic research during an artist residency at Piertarts.
