Born in 1984, Maki Hayashida is a contemporary photographer based in East Tokyo, interested in social issues around nature and human community. Her self-made photobooks, JAPAN-GO-ROUND (2014), The Pacific Tourist (2016) and Almost Transparent Island (2019) have been awarded and exhibited worldwide.
