About the Reviewer
Lee Wei-I started out his career as a journalist. He founded the independent magazine, Voices of Photography, in 2011 and has since been at the helm as the editor-in-chief. Recently, he has extended the publication umbrella to VOP BOOKS, through which he publishes books in promoting the reading, critiquing and the writing of photography and its history, focusing on the developments of photography in East and Southeast Asia.
Lee and the Voices of Photography have obtained several awards at the Golden Tripod Award, the highest honor in Taiwan’s publishing industry, including Best Magazine Chief Editor Award (2013), the Best Design Award (2016), and the Best Humanities and Art Magazine Award (2017 & 2018). He also participates in judging and curating at international photography events. He now lives in Taipei.
