Claudio Composti is an independent curator, art dealer and artistic director-founder of mc2gallery in Milan, gallery specialised in photography.
In 2016, he created the online platform Periscope Photoscouting, to discovery young photographer artists, both Italian and international. From 2018, he is an art dealer for private collections and he is the art director at Plaza Project Art Room, the first gallery ever opened in a 5 stars hotel in Viareggio (Tuscany) – Hotel Plaza et de Russie – where he curates the exhibition programme and the art residency programme too, by invitation. He is guest professor at the Photography Master at Raaffles Institute in Milan and he collaborates with LeicaAkaedemie for Folio Reviews and workshops.
He is also a Folio Reviewer for various photography festivals, such as Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, Photolux Festival in Lucca, at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan and at Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles, France and at the Belfast Photo Festival.
