Liang-Pin Tsao is an artist and the director of Lightbox Photo Library based in Taipei, Taiwan. Liang devotes himself to photographic art, public services and open culture. He currently serves as one of the advisory committee members at National Center of Photography and Images in Taiwan. He is also the founder of Lightbox Photo Library, a nonprofit organisation, which is free and open to all.
Lightbox strives to preserve, disseminate and advance local perspectives and creative practices through various kinds of public programs and educational projects, while simultaneously practicing the values of intellectual freedom, cultural equity and the co-creation of photographic culture.
