In Circles brings together ten artist practices that explore photography as a space for speculation, imagination and circulation. Moving between documentary and fiction, memory and mythology, popular culture and philosophy, historical evidence and machine-generated images, the artists challenge the idea that there is only one way of knowing the world.
Across the exhibition, familiar places become uncertain, histories are reimagined, fictional narratives reveal hidden realities, and images travel between people, places, technologies and time. Photography becomes a way of questioning what we see, what we remember and what we accept as truth.
Rather than offering definitive answers, In Circles invites us to look again. By circling between fact and fiction, evidence and imagination, the exhibition reveals photography as a space where different realities and ways of knowing can meet, overlap and continually transform.
