Intimacy is a profound lifeline in a world where true connection often feels elusive. It requires vulnerability, yet rewards us with closeness and authenticity. My photo project explores these dynamics, embracing the diversity of human experiences while unraveling the threads of intimacy, connection, vulnerability, and power.

Nudity plays a central role, serving as one of the most vivid expressions of intimacy and vulnerability. Stripping away external barriers, it confronts the raw reality of our bodies and invites a deeper connection with ourselves. Photography becomes an act of connection—witnessing another’s presence while affirming one’s own. To disrupt the traditional power dynamic, I hand the camera to my subjects, inviting them to photograph me as I photograph them. This exchange reframes intimacy as a shared creative dialogue rather than a one-sided observation.

By visiting subjects in their homes, I also examine the fluidity of personal boundaries, navigating the interplay between public and private spaces. These intimate settings allow for deeper exploration of vulnerability and connection, not just through the images but through the shared process of creation.

I am drawn to uncleaned, lived-in spaces—rooms that carry traces of everyday life, disorder, and presence. These environments resist staging and perfection; they hold something more honest. A bed left unmade, objects scattered, signs of use and habit—these details reveal a person in a way that curated spaces cannot. In their rawness, these interiors become extensions of the body itself: imperfect, exposed, and real. They create a different kind of intimacy, one that does not try to impress but simply exists, allowing both subject and viewer to encounter something unfiltered and immediate.
Because each person is unique, I use different cameras—from digital to large format to instant—letting the medium reflect their individuality and shape the encounter.

This project is about more than capturing images; it’s about creating spaces where intimacy and humanity can be celebrated. Through nudity, vulnerability, and collaborative exchange, my work invites reflection on what it means to connect—with others, with ourselves, and with the world around us.
